Billy served as a photojournalist for the United States Air Force in 1991 to 1998. He was one of only ten servicemen selected in 1995 to attend the Military Photojournalism program at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
During the fall of 1999, he had the opportunity to study with the world’s best wedding photographers at the International Wedding Institute in Tucson, AZ. In addition Billy has been published in various newspapers, Dealerscope “A CES Magazine”, The Las Vegas Magazine, Popular Science Magazine and Rolling Stone Magazine.
A three time Military Newspaper Photographer awards winner and in 1995 named Department of Defense top Military Photographer of the Year for illustrative and feature categories.
